HELLO EVERYONE I SEARCHED THE FORMS FOR MY PROBLEM AND NO ONE HAS IT. I BLEW A ROD BEARING AND REPALCED THE MOTOR, BUT ITS FROM A 98 SE-R AND MY CAR IS A 95 (SHOULDNT MATTER RIGHT?) THE MOTOR STARTS BUT WHEN I STEP ON THE CLUTCH IT JUST STAYS AT THE FLOOR. IT FEELS LIKE THE CLUTCH IS OUT. I REPLACED THE CLUTCH ON THIS CAR WHEN I FIRST BOUGHT IT. WHICH I ONLY PUT ON 3K OR LESS BEFORE THE ROD BLEW. I ALSO REPLACED THE CABLE. I KNOW THAT 98 SE-R'S USE HYDRAULIC CLUTCHES INSTEAD OF CABLE. I WANT MY CAR RUNNING PLEASE HELP. I KNOW THAT THE CLUTCH SET FOR SR20'S ARE ALL THE SAME FOR THESE YEARS. SO WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?????

have you tried bleeding the clutch-it sounds to me like you have no pressure at the lines. try this, have someone press the clutch pedal and have someone outside the vehicle-see if the slave cylinder(it moves the clutch arm to move the clutch in and out) is moving-if it is not-try bleeding the clutch system-you may just have air in the system, if not,you may have a bad clutch master-crack one of the lines loose and press the pedal, if fluid rushes out, you're ok, it is probably either air or a bad slave. good luck.
