Hi, I'm a newb to this forum. I did a search for this but couldn't find an answer so I apologize if this has already been covered.

I'm getting ready to tackle a clutch replacement for a friend on his '97 Sentra. I've replaced clutches on several different front wheel drive cars but never a Nissan. My question is this, can the tranny be removed from the bottom of the car by itself, or does the engine and tranny have to come out the top?

Thanks in advance for the help.

you cant use the crank pilot bearing that comes with most kits, this was used on older cars, throw it away.
Buy some Throw out release bearing clips before you start they get buggered taking the TOB off.
