Yes. Bigger tires always make for less power, lower top speed and slower acceleration.

I just went with Revos too (got them today)... last tires were 31" BFG A/T (pretty good all around but getting loud and hydroplane a bit) , and 31" Trxus M/T (too loud for long trips and a bit squirmy but overall pretty good manners for a MT).

Neither tire rubbed at all but now with offset wheels these 30.7 Revos will rub at full lock.. not bad though.. can't wait to go for a good drive!

problem is the offset. with 4.25 backset it forces the edge of the tire to come closer to the inner fender the more you turn..

because the pivot point is changed.. so it's like the whole wheel moves closer as you turn now..

that's the best i can explain it..
