I have a 96 pathfinder. I have been doing some repairs including timing belt, plugs ,wires, etc. The problem now even has my mechanic puzzled, no error codes. The truck starts fine when cold. Runs great until it reaches normal operating temp, then it sometimes stalls. Other times it runs until I shut it down. If I leave the hood closed and the heat is contained it wont start. If I open the hood when I shut it down and allow the heat to escape it will start up fine. I have been told there may be a heat/cold sensor that is faulty, but I don't know where this may be located. Truck runs great when it runs!!!
Any help would be great.

A marginal component is getting heat soaked. It could be the ignition coil or the fuel pressure regulator.
