HI I live in well basically the jungle here in Costa Rica and make do with what we can. Giving a car to a mechanic in C.R. could mean lots of downtime, and even total destruction of the vehicle. They still think it's ok to drive your car while they have it, and worse, siphon all the gas out before you get it back.

NO kidding, the Nissan went for paint, came back empty with 1500 kilometers more on it and the reverse lights had stopped working.

I do my own manitenance if possible.......

Present problem, reverse lights stopped working altogether, I check all the fuses, no problems detected, check the bulbs for continuity, no problems,
no I need to locate the reverse relay ?? and the park neutral position sensor.

I have Chiltons and Haynes manuals, niether shows where these particular parts are. See how you all can help.

Car Specs, 1996 Nissan Pathfinder SE, A/T with O/D 3.3liter V6 engine

Thanks,

Daniel

Happened once with a Toyota pick-up I had. There was continuity on the bulbs. It turned out to be the ground was bad. Hope this helps.

Thanks CROW163

I checked the grounds on the back lights, they are ok, was it also grounded at the park/neutral sensor?

Best,

Daniel
