well this may be about 2 1/2 years too late, but I have a 94 Sentra 4 door
1.6L and the passenger door was stuck, unable to open from the inside or outside ... had to pull the center pillar trim between the front and rear doors, which was not easy, pull the trim at the top of the window, pull the door panel down a bit for easier access, and get in there with a screwdriver and pop the latch. It was not easy to get to, but it can be done.
I have been trying to fix the door latch / locking mechanism and now I can't get the door to close (latch) and I am not sure why. I was unable to open the door from the inside, so I took the door panel off, removed the anti-jimmy guard, now I cannot get the door to close. WTF?
Any suggestions?
