I have a 93 sentra 1.6l. About every year I have to replace the nylon gear thats on the goveror gear assembly because the teeth on it wear out quick causing it to not upshift. Well this time the pin that holds the gear on the shaft sheered leaving the nylon gear in the housing. Has this happened to anyone before and if so how do I get that thing out?? The shaft is out but I can't get the gear out. Also, how does this happen to begin with? Theres scratches and gouges on the shaft like something is grinding on it in the housing.

OK. I got the gear out. But why would this keep happening all the time and how could it have sheered the pin?
