The tranny has a terrible leak that is plainly visible when looking under the hood. The leak is coming from a cylinder shaped part of the transmission just to the left of the tranny fluid dipstick. I am not sure what that part is called but, when you start the car the tranny fluid just streams out of it. I had thought about getting RTV and just seeing if I could plug up where ever the leak is coming from. Has anyone seen this before or do they know what that part of the transmission is called?

You can probaby tell I am not familiar with stuff like this. The car is pretty terminal at this point, since it had jumped timing about a year ago. I was able to advance the timing a bit to keep it going...I am sure if it jumps again, that will be about the end of it. I just need this thing to get me through a little bit longer.
