I have a 92 300 ZX Twin Turbo and it won't start. It used to run fine and now it won't start at all. Where can I start? My father has one too. I am thinking about swapping the square electronic device in front of the timing belt which Nissan recalled in the mid 90s for troube shooting. Please give any ideals on where I can start searching. Motor and transmission is good. please advised and thanks. James

the ecu codes that I am getting is 5 red flashes slow and 5 red flashes slow. I check the power going to the CAS. No fire still going to the spark plug. I even swap PTUs. What does this code tell me?

55 is no malfunction. but obviously you have one. At this point you'll need to either get a trouble tree from a service manual or OSM to dio it cause this is something that needs to be dug into.

Outkast,
I typed the info below wrong. it reads 5 red flashes slow and 5 red flashes fast. This may be a stupid question, but what is a trouble tree and an OSM? I have a service manual and still reading it. Thanks for your reply.

I asumed that cause 55 is the only 5 flash code. A trouble tree is what you can use to test individual areas to find the cause. You might chech the resistance on one componante and voltage drop of another. OSM is Online Service Manual you can download it from most sites for free. I can't remember if this site has it up but you can get it for sure from 300zxclub.com.
