Need info on changing the thermostat on '89 Pathfinder. What all has to come off to replace the thermostat? A step by step guide would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help.

4 or 6 cyl?

should just be the upper plenum and direct access to the t-stat. check your PMs

Looks like its fixed

Looks like I got by lucky. Found that the reservoir was empty and the radiator was a little low. Topped both off and now seems to heat great.
