i want to put 33's on my stock rims which i assume is 10.5 and i want to know if my gear ratio will be able to handle it. I know ill lose some power but i just want to make sure it will be fine. And will i have to do some fender trimming to make room w/ a 3 in lift?

you will need a lift kit to fit 33s. look on the plate that is either on the dr. door jamb or on the pass. side firewall in the eng compartment. look at the axle code, it should be like a HG43, HG46, CA41, something along those lines. the # is the gear ratio, i.e. 41 would be 4.135:1, 46 is 4.625:1 ratios.

The stock aluminum Lego wheels are 7" wide. Other stock wheels are narrower.

You need at LEAST a 3" body lift to fit 33's and 6" lift total to fit 33's without them rubbing everything raw up front. Very seriously.

Your gearing isn't going to be your biggest problem, steering is. The stock steering is weak and if you wheel it hard it'll break itself in short order.

Stock gearing (for the US) was either 4.3:1 or 4.6:1. New gears cost about $500 per axle, so $1000 total for JUST the gears, not including install. If you have the 4.3's right now you can try to find a 87-90 in a junkyard with the 4.6's and swap them out.

That said, yes, you will lose a lot of power going from 235's or even 31's up to 33's. Been there, done that. You'll also get about 11-13 MPG max...
