I'm looking at swapping the engine out for a KA in a short while, or possibly swapping just the top half. Is it possible to use a ka24e out of an 89 auto 240sx? I know the compression ratio is very similar to the 87 z24. Also I'm wondering how I could go about swapping the IFS to a solid axle and how I can try to swap my brakes (front and rear) for the disk brakes from a Frontier.

but u might consider just buying what truck u want and selling this truck.

unfortunately I hate the body styles of the new trucks. I only like their technology. Thus doing swaps on the older D21, and then when I have the money I'll be doing my 710 for speed.

i am not saying to buy a new truck ..
find the nissan truck configuration you do like and buy it used..

a 90 hb has the same body style but has the ka engine.
a 90 v6 model will have the larger brakes u want.

the money u spend doing any one of those swaps could buy you another truck ..

and do you mean 720 ??
