Hello everyone, i'm new to the site, but not new to car problems. I purchased
this car with 28,587 in 2003 and now it has 31,277 in 2005. I have not driven
this car for a season since purchased. I have had problems with the car just
dying in traffic, not restarting until 3-4 hours later or maybe not at all. Its power seems to decrease during driving a course of 10 miles or less. I have
had a Nissan dealership "try" to fix it, but unable to as its not running currently eventhough they did extremely expensive work on it including:

New Computer, New distributor, new battery, new spark plugs with tuneup,
new tires, new brakes, new fusible links and etc. The timing belt was o.k..
the valves was looked at and was o.k., but its not turning over to start. I
need help before I spend anymore money. What could it be?

Do I need to have the engine overhauled or replaced?

Thanks! For the replies.

She does have spark, however I will change the plugs just to be on the safe side.

I will try the starter fluid. Will post results later.
