2020 Rogue Speed Control Mysteriously Disengages

The only issue I have with the 2020 Rogue is the speed control system. It kind of disengages for no reason that I can determine. The interesting thing is all the engaged speed control displays on the console remain on. That implies it is a very subtle disengagement. Also, I have discovered that if I manually accelerate to a speed close to the originally selected speed, the system will reengage controlling the speed. It is a very annoying bug.

Is it intelligent cruise (ICC) or Pro Pilot, or standard cruise? If it's ICC or PP, you may have a falsing radar causing the ADAS to think there's a car ahead and slowing down in response.

Thank you for your response. I think the cruise control is intelligent cruise (ICC), but the issue has occurred when there is no vehicle in front. It could be the system thinks there is a vehicle in front and slows down, but then why would my speeding up to the original speed setting causes it to reengage? I have complained to the Nissan dealer several times, but they don't appear to be in a position to diagnose the system. Is there any way I could contact Nissan directly to perhaps get it researched?
If the ADAS or Radar aren't throwing codes, then it will be very difficult to diagnose without having a scanner on it at the time the problem occurs. Radar "falsing" can clear itself, sometimes it's a matter of the beam's ground angle. The problem is, the Radar won't be thinking there's anything wrong. Just falsely detecting an obstruction, so there won't be any evidence left behind.

Not that it's a fix, but you can take the ADAS out of the equation by pressing and holding the "on" button instead of simply pressing it once. That shuts off the intelligent cruise and turns it into a normal-dumb cruise.
I'm assuming you mean the ON button on the left side of the steering wheel. I'm thinking of trying this, is there any indication in the display that it has switched to a normal-dumb cruise control? It seems likely the ADAS is where the issue resides. If the ADAS or Radar throws a code wouldn't that set the check engine light on?
Not the CEL, but you would get a "crash" lamp along with a message that some driving aids are disabled. I can't recall what the indication for is for smart/dumb on a gen2 (it varies from model to model), but I think the set speed display won't change color during operation like it normally would. Maybe someone else with an ICC gen2 can chime in.
