Hi! My wife just traded in her Tucson and bought a 2018 Altima 2.5 sv. Now I know the tires that came on her Altima are 215/55/17, but she has a set of 225/60/17 weathermaxx arctic suv winter tires leftover from her Tucson.

Can she use these on her Altima? Thanks in advance!

I wouldn't be optimistic about your chances. The Weathermaxx is only about a 1/2" wider than the Altima tire, but it is also 1.3" taller. You need to check the clearance between the tire and coil spring perch on the strut tower. You'll want a gap of at least 3/4-inch between your current Altima tires and the strut's spring perch to even have a chance that WeatherMaxx tires will fit.
