After buying this truck the a detail personnel gouged the spray in bed liner. Is this a defect? is that even possible that that happens?

I would consider it damage more so than a defect. They should repair it for you if you see it as a potential problem down the road.

I agree it is damage as well. But does it not take a lot of force for these bed liners to goudge like that? It is all the way down to the metal on the truck. If that metal gets wet it will eventually rust. The night we bought the truck it was dark and raining. So we are thinking we bought it that way. We did not notice anything until they had come and brought it back clean. They were seeing if there are any defects in bed liner because im pretty sure that is not suppose to happen even just cleaning it. All i can see is that they used a high pressured cleaner and went to soak the bed liner and it flew a piece off. Nothing was put in the bed once so ever.
