2011 Nissan Rogue water leak

Please help. I have a 2011 Nissan Rogue (yes it has a sunroof). Each time it rains, there’s a pretty noticeable puddle of WATER on my driver’s side floor (no other locations in the vehicle). I’ve taken my car to my mechanic who was unable to replicate the leak. They checked all the seals around the windows and door, everything appears to be intact. My mechanic advised that I take the car to the Nissan dealer; I called the dealer to schedule my appointment and was advised not to bring the car in since my mechanic was unable to replicate the leak. I then was advised to take my car to a body shop (keep in mind I do not have any collision damage). The body shop stated my issue was not something they serviced. I don’t know where the leak is coming from or where I need to take my car to be serviced. I live in GA and it rains pretty often. The smell in my car is horrible. Please provide any information that’ll help me put an end to this smelly nightmare. Thanks!!!

The sunroof has water drain tubes that run along inside the windshield posts. The tubes may be plugged up with debris. Get an old time speedometer cable and run it through the tubes followed by a water flush. You may have to run the cable from bottom up to free up some possible mud that may be in there.

Thanks for the info. Since I’m not sure how to do the above lol, I will advise my mechanic of your suggestion. I pray this works. Thanks, I truly appreciate it!!!!

Hi..Where did you ended up taking your Rogue to be fixed and how much was it? I think I have the same exact problem.

I don't have a Rogue but I have an Altima; similar issue with a friend of mine. We used an old time speedometer cable which helped somewhat, then we used weed wacker nylon chord and ran it bottom up. The drain holes are difficult to locate but if you pour a little bit of water at the sun roof then look for any small drip under the car, you might be able to see the drain tube.
Vids & pics & diagrams of drain exits, A.C. and Sun roof, for '11 Rogue are more rare then hens teeth. Any links to these would be great. Please. Tks Jim.
