When you crank the engine, does the security light come on? If so, the Pathy isn't recognizing the key, so the NVIS (Nissan Vehicle Immobilization System) is cutting off the fuel. It'll crank fine, but the engine won't fire.
Try starting it with a different key and see if that works. If it does, bring the culprit, non-working key back to the dealership to be reprogrammed.
