Is there any difference in the brake rotors and suspension for the V6 vs the V8 , I have a V6 but I want to upgrade the brakes and suspension, reason been is that I think my pathfinder don’t stop quick enough comparing to my other SUV

I did the front brake "V8" upgrade to my 2006; the rear brakes on the R51 Pathfinders are the same. It's easy to do: all you need is the following from or for a 2008-2012 V8 Pathfinder....

V8 front brake rotors (2)
V8 front brake calipers w/ mounting brackets (left and right sides, obviously)
V8 front brake pad set and hardware.

The hoses, bolts for the caliper mounts, steering knuckles, wheel bearing hub assemblies and master cylinder are all the same.
*NOTES: You must have at least 17" wheels! I would also highly recommend you go with SS braided brake hoses as they do firm up the pedal feel a lot. I went with a set from Goodridge. You can go with generic reman. calipers from Rockauto.com, but the better quality rotors and pads you use will make a big difference. I went the "high end" with Power Stop red powder coated calipers, EBC GD rotors and EBS yellow stuff brake pads at all four wheels. They do grab much better, maybe a little too good...and create a lot of brake dust. I would recommend the green stuff EBC pads over the yellow if you go with that brand.
