My 2006 altima recently started leaking in the trunk, I think from the right side by the jack. It's never had any leaking problems before and no accidents. I've checked the trunk seal and even caulked around it and along all over where the trunk closes, but there is still water pooling in. The right side paneling is wet so I think it's coming from somewhere over there and pooling, then spreading to the rest of my trunk... I cant seem to find the exact area that's leaking though (I've tried patching 4 times already but still leaks every time it rains, then floods to my wheel well.) How can I fix this?? I know it cant be the trunk door since it's only wet along that corner and my carpet is dry, it's only along the bottom and that one side. I can see the drip trails along the metal interior but cant seem to find the source.
Could it be the tail light? Is there a way to fix that from the inside, without taking the whole light out?
