OK, so I combed the forums, and scared the hell out of myself about my recent purchase of a 2005 Pathfinder SE off road. I have owned two Nissans before this, and purchased based on previous experience. Now, since I didn't get the deal of the year (I had to bury my trade in the purchase price) and will likely be committed to the patty for some time, what can I do as preventative maintenace to ensure that my truck will last? I checked the manufacturing date (01/05... wonderful) and it seems that most issues are from the 1st run of 2005 (like mine) I loved my 95 pathfinder, and owned a 1990 sentra before that (indestructable) I want to love my new patty too!!! Truck has 35,500k on the ticker, and is seemingly perfect aside from some scratches on the plastic inside (seems common) and drives flawlessly. No squeaks or rattles that I've noticed (but having owned a 2003 Mini Cooper S, I probably have been de-sensitized to them) and all seems well.
