I have a 2004 Sentra S, which I've experienced the hard to start problem, that Nissan has a TSB on to replace or repair the fuel pump.

I also experince rough idle after initial start which goes away after revving the engine a bit or driving.

The Service engine light has come on (seemingly after this rough idle) which has the code for multiple cyclindar failures.

Could the fuel pump problem be the cause for the rough idle and engine codes for the cyclindar failures?

Car runs just fine after the initial start up issues.

A bad fuel pump will NOT cause a SES light to come on.

Sounds to me like you might have a bad headgasket? Check your coolant level. Also, check to see if someone or yourself will smell the exhaust, 1st thing on start up and see if it smells sweet like honey.
