Recently attempted to jumpstart a friend's car - unsuccessful, their car didn't turn over. I shut mine off and later drove it 3 miles home but noticed the check engine light was on. Sat for about 24hrs and failed to start since then. The battery been tested as good. Now what happens with the initial click of the ignition all lights and power items engage but when full turn of the key everything dies - no power at all. I've checked the fuse box closest to the battery (seems all good) and plan to change the terminal connectors as they're beat up some and difficult to tighten. Has anyone experienced similar issues? Should i be worried that i fried a component when trying to jump the other vehicle? Car has 165K miles new plugs and coil packs. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
