2003 Altima door chime

I have a 2003 Altima with a 4 cylinder. About 6 months ago, the battery died. It sat until recently, when I replaced the battery. Upon starting the car, I realized that there is no longer a blinker noise, or a chime for the lights and door. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

There could be a problem with the BCM or the IPDM. Testing the IPDM: Turn the ignition key to the on position, press your door switch 10 times, turn the ignition off then turn it back to the on position. If you do this right your horn will beep and the oil light will start flashing. The defroster ,headlights, cooling fans, wipers, and compressor clutch will cycle, so make sure that your hood is open so you can here the clicks of the compressor clutch. This is called the auto active test and this tests the main relays in the IPDM.

Thanks for the tip. I tried that and later on I heard a faint beeping sound again. Is that still part of the BCM or is there something else I can replace to make it louder, like a speaker?

At this point it's best to download a copy of the FSM for your car from this web site: https://diyservicemanuals.com/nissan-altima-service-repair-manuals/
It contains diagnostic procedures for trouble shooting the BCM and the IPDM. Those two modules are expensive, so you don't just want to replace either of them without proof of failure.
