Is the horn supposed to sound when you lock the doors and arm the system?
And my friend has a 96SE and when he turns the blinkers on, his parking lights shine brighter, will mine do that? Mine is a 97SE.

I'm not talking about the actual orange blinker lights, I'm talking about the white lights located on the side of the vehicle. On my friends maxima, they shine brighter in the direction that you're turning.

those are the cornering lights and I don't recall them lighting up with the arm/disarm

Ok, so I'm talking about the corner lights.

The corner lights on 97-99 Maximas do not light up brighter like the 95/96 do when the corresponding blinker is on.

There is a mod you can do to make it brighter all the time though...
