I'm new to this forum and uninformed in car repair in general so bare with me if I don't know the basics.
I have a 1995 Nissan Pickup 2WD KA24E Automatic with a broken speedometer. Just the speedometer (and the radio but its fine I don't really care).
I noticed that on my way to work, the speedometer worked fine, but on the way home it wouldn't work and just be stuck at 0. If I went over 40 mph it would jump all the way to 60 and then if I dropped below 40 it would fall back to 0.
I figured it was due to the heat, as it would be ~80F outside in the evening. But I don't know anything on how to fix it.
What do you think?
