Yesterday my front passenger brake caliper came loose and worked down the rotor. I didn't have any tools with me so I had to spend some cash on a mobile repair guy. He told me that I need a new caliper mounting bracket since it seemed the threads were stripped. My problem is that I can't seem to find one anywhere. Where do I look for this? For now the caliper is in place but I am afraid that this is going to happen again. Any help will be appreciated.

I'd say bring it to a machine shop, or good garage. Depending on a couple factors, it could be drilled and then tapped, or drilled, sleeved, and tapped.
