Title sounds ridiculous but hear me out.
I have a 1987 Australian Nissan Pulsar Q with an 18LE (so one of the ones built with help from Holden if i'm correct) and i got it for like $400 back in 2012 but the big problem for it was it needs a rack and pinion seal kit which i cant find ANYWHERE so i stuffed it into storage and left it, ive just came back to it and wanna get it going, now on the internet the only thing i can find even vaguely similar is a seal kit for a 1987 Nissan Pulsar NX which i know nothing about so what i want to know is:
Is the rack and pinion in a normal 1987 Pulsar Q N13 5 door whatever you wanna call it, the same as the one in a Pulsar NX?

Cheers

That's a good question. This is all I can tell you: In the US in 1987, we had the Pulsar NX with a E16i engine and the Pulsar NX-SE, which had a CA16DE engine, neither one of them look quite like what you have. Each one had a different power steering rack & pinion and their seal kits were different, as well. Hopefully, someone can help you out more!
