173bhp manual diesel

I am considering a 173bhp manual diesel.

Can anyone give me an idea on the real life mpg figures.
I live in the uk and do a lot of motorway mileage in the uk and europe.
in europe I tend to average 80mph(130kph) on the motorways.

Hi Pete

I have the 150 bhp diesel new shape. Mainly motorway runs. Avg over last 5 months is 37.5MPG. Round the doors though driven lively its down to 33MPG. Steady and light throttle at 75-80 MPH is around 39-40.
Expect the same outta yours on Motorway and a littleless hoofing it around the doors.
