temp sensor in air box

hey im fabing up a wai for my car today for shits and giggles i was wonder ing what the hell do i do with the air temp sensor!!?? can i let it hang does it need to be in there? help!!!


95 200sx timing advanced to 15*, custom cai, Stromung exaust (no cat), b&m short throw shifter, rusted out fenders, worn suspension, creaking balljoints, cracked windshield and bad cv axles. your regular hooptie that requires 92 octane.

landlord,

I have a WAI on my car and I just let the IAT(Intake Air Temp) sensor just hang there. I have seen zero problems with this. Think about it, as long as it is close to the filter(mine is about 2" away). It will get the same temp air passing over it as the filter is sucking in. You should be all set.

see in this town nissan really needs represented!!! there all hondas out here!! your lucky if you see a nissan with just its windows tinted. this bone ass stock in my sig needs to go!!! im saving up for the hs turbo, but i need somthing to quench my thirst untill i get 3200.00 and a local shop acually has an maf adapter plate in stock! it suprized the hell out of me and the guy i talked too!!
