Hi its a small block chevy motor thats bored and stroked to give 427ci or aprox 7.0 liter, we tried to dyno it on a rolling road but as soon as the converter starts to bite the tyers started smoking so no power figures yet but im hoping to try a different dyno using sliks on the car soon

This conversion looks cool but just out of curiosity.....why would you do that and why choose carburated and not EFI? That must be the meanest sounding Z32 ever!!!

Hi thanks for the comments, i love the shape of the wide body Z but the nissan motor couldn't give me the power i wanted so here is my ideal car after about 18 months hard work. (if you look closer at the engine photo you will see there is no carburator on it just a big throttle body and 8 injectors, the air cleaner hides it well)

Hi spongerider we tried to dyno it on a rolling road but when the converter started to bite (4000rpm stall speed) it was smoking the tyers recording 256 hp @ wheels at 3200 rpm.the motor is quite happy at 8000rpm so who knows. No joy with the dyno sessions yet. but im hoping to try a different kind of dyno soon. there is one about 250 mile away that most of the drag racing guys in the uk use that is very good upto 1000 whp but at the moment i have no cash.

Sorry about that i didn't see the injectors. Very nice job with the engine, did you have to make new engine mounts for the chasis? Whats about tranny, what kind of tranny did U use ? Last question, how much did this entire conversion set you back.. I did see a z31 with an LS1 corvett engine though..it was pretty cool. congrats!

UK's quickest street legal Z --- just a bit

Hi there just logged in to say I saw this car run on Sunday at the pod and I have to say it is stunning, totally and absolutely stunning, resistance is futile.

Gavin and Mick it was good to meet you and I will look forward to other events that you attend
The Z club really appreciate the appearance guys
And as soon as the mag is out then a few copies will be winging their way over.

Regards
