Just out of interest how much lighter is a 240Z than gavins car ?

Estimate something in the region of 500kg lighter (1100 lbs). The engine used was 350 ci.

i dunno i dont like it... ur basically taking the name off the fairlady outta the car with slappin a v8 engine in there...in my opinion if it waz da twin turbo'ed v6 engine u would have already 300hp stock... and u can have 700hp on the twin turbo'ed engine n get the horsepower easly thats jus a shame on a good sports car slappin a v8 smh...

Yep sure you can -- we in little ole England have TT cars reputed to have over 700 -- trouble is they never turn up except in magazine articles

And to get 700 out of the VG requires work and money -- lots of both Hate to be the bearer of bad tidings but the VG isnt in the same league as the SBC -- go look at the Scoggin Dicky catalogue where you can buy a crate 1000 Hp normally aspirated V8 for $20K.

How are the fanny molds coming along?

Bottom line is this fairlady had people in evo's, cossies, scoobies and skylines counting back pairs in the fire up lanes in RWYB at the pod so they didn’t have to line up against her. One guy even decided it was time to eat his sandwiches rather than race her bad ass and pulled over out of the queue.
