mmmm nice mod

but who would want to swap out a nissan motor for a chev anyway. VG30DETT is a brilliant motor.

the 300ZX motor has to be able to reach a 1000hp mark that is why it is pointless to me to swap it for andother motor that needs 2 more cylinders to do it.

These are the only numbers that matter

11.402 / 121.93

This is why gav did it

No turbo, no supercharger, no nitrous, fully streetable and reliable

UK's quickest street legal Z ?
This car currently sits at 5th fastest in the UK, however the top two positions are not street legal cars.

10.54 is the time to beat. This was achieved by a SBC powered 240Z running slicks & gas way back in 1993.

But credit where credit is due; we haven't seen an 11 second Z for over 10 years and Gavin's car is certainly the fastest on the streets of England today. I'm sure that once the gas is fitted we might be looking at a new UK record.

Will certainly be at The Pod in October, the best of luck to you and thanks for showing us what this little beauty can do.

As far as i am aware Gav had them custom fabricated specifically for his Z. Dont think at the moment theres another set in exsistance. Gav will be able to give a better answer next time he's online.

Cheers

I am trying to fit 11" wide rear wheels with 335 tires on the back of my race car and those are the nicest looking rear fenders I have seen. I currently have the bubble AB Flug fenders sitting around but havent put them on yet because I don't particularly like the way they look.

there are many other wide body Z's that i've seen.
Although i will say those little scoops on the side are unique.

Very nice Z.

Hi the fenders are available in the uk from luke borg at the Z center. He does have a website Zcenter.co.uk give him a try, im using 335 tires with 12" rims. if you got the offset right you could go for 13" rims using this bodykit
