Driveshaft

I need a new driveshaft and I have found a 20 lb 1 peice steel driveshaft and the stock is a 35lb 2 peice I was wondering if anyone has done this upgrade and how it has worked out. please reply if u have any info i would greatly appreciate it. Also i was wondering if it would vibrate anything in a bad way of or up agianst any thing or if the fact that the center u joint not being there would bend anything or not fit right im mainly doing this for replacement my last one is bad thanks again.

Well you woudl gain a few Hp because there is less rotating mass like stated above. But you may experance a bit more vibration as well. The U joint that was joining the OE driveshaft absorbs alot of shock from the driveline. I dont think it will be a big deal. Put that one in and let us knwo how it goes.
