Single or twin

I was on another board and they say the best setup for a 300zx is a single trubo is this true???I thought in this case that twin was better on Z32 car.

Thanks

you'd have to get creative to do a single turbo setup on the Z since it's a V motor....

not creative but I mean your not going to be able to just go out and buy a kit. For a Z32 I would stick with the twin turbo (do a swap off a TT motor) now for the Z31s you should keep it single. Twin won't help you at all. If you want more HP out of a Z31 raise the boost or get a bigger turbo

single turbo setups are best used on inline motors to get high HP numbers.

i'd stay with the twin turbo....there are kits out there that bring the car to outrageously high rwhp and to even think of how a single turbo would be set up in that kind of engine would just tend to boogle the mind

Not to mention that I don't think that there is any room in the engine bay to run the exhaust over to the other side. I would just leave it the way it is and just work with the two turbo's together.

He's right. stick with the TT It will save you a lot of time, money, and hard work. if you want more power out of it get a boost controller and change the air filters
