Having 90 tt problems :.(

Hey guys iam having some troublem with mine 300zx tt , When i start up the engine it wont idle , i have to keep my foot kinda on the gas so it wont shut down, and on the road i only could go 40 mph and the rpm, wont go higher than 4thousand rpms and it spits out black smoke when i rev it . do u guys have any idea it might be wroung wid my car thx u hopefully this make sense .

My first guess would be injector failure.

worst case - dead ECU. sounds like you're in limb mode. best thing to do after you check the MAS connector is to try to retreive your ecu diagnostic code.

i ran into this problem a little while back.. i figured it out
All the plugs on the 90-91 are really old.. Get a little piece of wire and make
it a brush and then brush off all the connections like the spark plugs that main plug in the front, Literally all the plugs u see, It cant be a bad ecu cuz if it was bad it would have worse symptoms
