Oil pump re&re
Has anyone done an oil pump re&re with the engine in the car?
I need to replace the gasket that seals the pump to the block as it is leaking in the corner beside the relief valve spring housing. First thought it was the front crank seal because it was dripping from the aluminum flange under the timing gear drive pulley. But on closer inspection running the engine with no timing belt covers on, it was coming from where the pump is supposed to seal to the block behind the relief valve housing.
