are you able to swap a RB26DETT Skyline engine into a 91 300ZX Twin-Turbo Coupe?

I'm sure you COULD. All of the mounts and the wiring are different, it would take oodles of modification, I don't believe it's been done before.

I saw an article that showed pics of a RB26DETT in a 350Z I don't know why they did it but it looked bad ass.

it's possible and would probably cost a lot but if you want it for the "power" factor stick with the vg. i heard the vg30dett has all of nissan's record breakers and the rb26dett still hasn't touched them. if you want the wow factor then i say go for it.

I don't think it will fit. The rb engine is an inline 6. So physically I don't think it will fit. The rb would probably fit into an older model Z with the longer nose.

so is it possible to do? my friend just blew his motor in his 91 zx' and he was askin me if its possible i sed anythings possible with the rite amount of cash

but . he was really lookin into swapin a rb26de[t/tt] ... but i dont get how it works if usdm is LHD and skylines are RHD and the harnesses won't hook rite up like those' legoz we kall hondas rite?.....

what's interesting is how the Xanavi Skyline in the JGTC just recently set a record and its VG30DETT powered I would say stick with the VG unless you want to do something just be different but it seems like quite an undertaking.

where can he find out more about the vg30dett motor, like a site. for pricing and perchasing?
