Z Experts: Porting of the Heads !!!>>>

I am doing this at the moment, and have been getting conflicting opinions on what is considered the best way to port the Exhaust passages....

Do you:
Put a very polished mirror like finish on them to help with the flow and prevent carbon and debris from collecting there

OR

Just lightly scuff and clean up the passages with no major polishing like that of the intake ones.

ALSO

I think that is better not to do a gasket-match since the exhaust pulses fill revert back into the head if you do it much easier. I know the guys with tubular headers don't do it for those same reasons, but not sure on our log style. So I'm wondering if you have ported manifolds, do you match them to the head or not?

Mike, Zhound... U guys have went through this research, what is the general consensus?

Regards,

George
