i think my power booster is out on the clutch
i unhooked the vacume line and pluged it and the clutch is a little better and is alot more consistant

i want to eliminate the booster.

and what is with that line over on the passenger fender?

is there a really good reason for that or can i eliminate that too?

The booster is used to assists the foot pressure of the clutch. If you do delete it your left leg is going to be sore especially while driving in traffic.

I suggest not to do it. What is going on with your clutch? I don't get why you want to delete it?

welp, i noticed the clutch seems to be a lil better if i disconect the booster.
doesnt grind as much when i shift.

chances are the syncros in the tranny need replaced but i am just looking into any option i can befor i spend that kind of money.

by the way, how in the heck can i aim the headlights?

Before doing this I would recommend Redline tranny oil. It has done wonders for me and the grinding has disappeared.

ok, headlights fixed.

i am using valvoline synpower 100% synthetic 75w90 gl5 in the tranny
and have sompletely changed clutch fluid

I have also came to the conclusion that when the system is cold it shifts fine. after heating up that is when the problems are present.

i have 2 theories but not sure if i am right.

1. rubber hose near slave cyl may give way after hot
so maybe a braided line.

2. preasure plate on clutch is metal and metal gets weak after getting hot.

i dunno, just running ideas through my head

besides the clutch/tranny issue.. i have others i am working on also like....

wiring harness; ocassionally car runs on 5 cyl ( not ofter though)(no check engine light on and i have not run diag because of this)

rear end sways sometimes (HICAS eliminator kit $150 ebay)

AC dont work (think its compressor)

hvac control only works on auto and low (not sure about that one)

car puffs on pass side tail pipe (cut main cats but pre cats stilll on car and main cats were almost completely clogged)

and many many other lil issues like driver door window is out of a 2+2 I think cause it seems to be cut differently and doesnt seal all the way(car was stolen and repaired)

I could go on and on but i got the car for 3,000.00 so i expect alot of items like this.
just wish my daily driver was going (geo metro 3cyl, getting tranny replaced)
