Should I sell?

Felow Z owners,

I have come to a point in my life where i need to make a serious choice. Should I sell my Z?

I own a 91 300zx TT with 79000 miles on it. The only thing that has been replace is the exhaust (junk yard fix since original rotted away) timing belt has NOT been done. everything else is stock and in good to "wow" condition considering its age. I am in the Air Force and travel a lot, looking to maybe go to alaska (i am a New Yorker living in Oklahoma)

I also own a 2003 Xterra SE/SC. I am thinking of getting an AWD car like a Subaru. I was looking at the BAJA since it comes turbo and looks different. What recomendations do yall have. Should i sell? Shoud i keep and upgrade? (maybe a Traction Control System).

So how many miles do you have on your Z? For me its either sell now (which i don't want to do but i may need an AWD car in Alaska) or run it down to the ground (well keep it up and running but put a lot of miles on it)

Dunno.. you strapped for cash? Given the US economy right now its not a good time to sell anything... and a Z that is 19K miles past its required maintenance interval would not instill much confidence in a knowledgeable buyer. I would do the 60K first... plus if that belt snaps in the interim, your decision just got made for you. The bad way.

I'd wait and hold if you can.. but if you must. Sell in the spring as soon as the warm weather arrives. Thats when sportscars sell best and fetch the best prices.

I hope your not at Ft Sill by the way.... shittiest place ive ever been (of course I went there for basic training only haha)

Anyways, if you want something new, then go for the Baja. It's always nice having a car that old that is still in really good condition, but after a while (depending on your maintenance) things will start to go bad, things will start to rust, and you'll run into problems. I like the Z's, but I would go with something new.
