i have a 1991 Nissan 300zx non turbo and i was wondering what could be causing my car to idle so badly at certain times...ill be at a stop light and the rpms will drop SUPER low, and the car feels like its about to die....could it be bad plugs and wires?

it can be lots of things.

i'd start with looking for a vacuum leak. next would be checking the idle air control valve and the TPS.

check the plugs because they can tell you a whole lot about the status of the motor.

well i got a diagnostic ran on my car and the results were bad 02 sensors. im not too familiar with that area but, i was told the o2 sensors are either bad or clogged? and that the sensor is not telling my injectors when to open or close causing my car to get too much air and not enough fuel...
