HELP HELP. BUYING A 300 BUT ONE PROB.

Ok im about to buy a 1995 non turbo coupe 300 zx and went on a test drive and it seemed to drive ok. It vibrated some what and more when i was breaking. Then i poped the hood and it idled fine but as soon as i reved it up it made a loud clicking knocking nosie coming from the timing belt area and the dealership just put a new timimg belt on and they cliam its just the timimg belt. The guy at the dealer ship said that all he has to do is have the tensioner tightend and that will fix the prob. He said that he will get it fixed but i dont think that just the prob. OO and when i was driving it smelled like something was burning. The car has a 142000 miles on it. I dont know alot about these cars but i have been wanting one for a long time. and the he said something like the cam bearings could be bad. so was just hoping that someone could give me some insight before five oclock tommrow. thankx

Since it's at a Dealership tell them to fix it and then you guys can talk? The z32 is a expensive car to work on so have them fix it.
