Update + Question

The Z is coming along nicely. So far I have done the following:

New Starter
New Tension Rods
AGX Adjustables
Eibach Pro Kit
Carbring Front and rear braces

I cleaned her up quite a bit as well (see photos)

During my detailing effort I was vacuuming the floorboards and noticed the carpet coming away. It was attached via velcro to a piece of wood! I freaked out thinking the floorboard was rusted out. I removed the wood piece and no rust...nothing. Any idea why there is a wood panel for a floorboard? Anyone else have this?

The wood panel is a cover for the ecu. The ecu is located in the passengers kick board.
