Universal o2 sensors OK?

My codes are not coming up for 02 (or anything else) but, i don't think they have been replace yet 100k and want to know the most cost effective way to change them is? Car is still running bad at low rpm's . I have had diagnostics shop have a go at it AND the dealer can't find it either without charging me the same as another timing belt change 450.00)with NO guarantee) so i'd like to figure it out ourselves. thanks Jeff
