Hello! New to the board. Could someone tell me where the pcv's are? And I have corrosion on my injector connectors, should I replace these or will cleaning be sufficient? It is running very sluggish and missing at low rpms and smooths out at 4000. I also would like to know the best plugs to use for fuel efficiency and still have power. And what should the gap be? I have heard everything from 35 to .44 even good right out of the box??? Oh! I have a 90 non turbo 300z manual. Thank you. Much appreciated. jeff.
They are located on the right and left underside of the plenum. On the passenger side remove the battery to change the PCV and on the driver side remove the brake master to located the PCV.

You just need to clean the connector and put a *little* grease on the connectors when they are clean.

Any aftermarket plug will work and should take care of your sluggishness.

Thankyou songrider. I appreciate the information. I'll let you know. I think I found a bad connector today #2, where can you get these connectors at a reasonable cost? jeff
Dam! Sorry spongerider. The eyes sometimes ya know! I am going to have to take her to the dealer tomorrow if no fix. I just have a feeling they are going to say that they need to do a list of things blaming it on more than necessary just to finally land the correct component. Thats what the last shop did. Is there a way to really diagnose these cars or do you have to throw some guess money at it? I do not mind getting most things up to par but I have already done a ton and its not running worth a darn yet. The shop ( a diagnostic shop) tells me that I'd will have to change all of the inj. connectors before he can go any further in his diagnosis. Is that right?
I would start with all of the things listed in there first. It goes over everything that sponge was talking about plus some. There are a ton of connectors and electrical pieces in the Z that can make life suck...
Also here is the link for the PCV replacement. Not overly hard, just requires a little flexibility. Good luck and welcome to the forums!
