Exclamation 1990 300zx automatic transmission

Hello all;

I'm new and found this forum thru google.

I don't know if anyone has ever had this problem or have ever heard of anything like this, so here goes...my 1990 300zx will not go in reverse, the other gears seem to work fine.

Does anyone have any advice or suggestions? (besides go to the mechanic!)

Thanx.

Drain your tranny oil and replace it with new oil. Try that first before taking it to the shop.

Double check your tranny fluis level. A/T tranny's take about 8qts of fluid.

How is this helping him? You might as well tell him to see a mechanic if your just going to push him off on another forum?

Hello

I thought it was helping because I know the info is there. It just takes a lil searching but nevermind, I'll just not respond next time.
