I am highly thinking of getting the 300zx I've been talking about (even though it's been a while since then). The owner has put a JDM motor in it and it is all wired but what needs to be replaced other than the timing belt? Thanks!

OK, it seems that the car was running because he drove it back home fo rhis daughter after the swap, then th ecar died on the way there. I was thinking it might be the timing belt? If the belt did break, would I need a new motor?

Do a ecu diagnostics it might help find your problem.

He told me that the timing was a little off and it only blew the driver side head. The stock heads are fine, so could I swap the head, realign the timing and be able to drive it no problem? I t also comes with 2 trannies w/ 30k miles on them, stock motor and 2 turbos, intercoolers, and manifold. If I get the car, those parts are going up for sale. Waiting for today, or next weekend.
