what does the vg30et usually idle at?

Mine does at about 900. about 1100 or so with ac turned on. On a cold startup. it goes to about 1500 and gradually drops back to 900 as it warms up.

I wonder if he does mean the ET, or the DETT...... My ET idled perfectly at 500 rpm warm.

Well, I don’t know if my idling is correct. 500 warmed up seams little low. My 300zx is NA, vg30de. I also haven’t done tune up since I got the car.

my 91 VG30DE about 800 rpm (at operating temperature with fresh plugs)

anywhere upto 1500 rpm give or take 500 rpm pending on how cold, ac or not and pending on which day of the week. (yeah I know, but it has kinda a personality of its own sometimes)
