82 280zx 5 spd The gears sound like they want to touch when engaged or in neutral, the car has been sitting for awhile and it does have a trans leak. I am looking into buying this car, it sounds like to me that the fluid has got too low and is causing the trans to make noise. Just wanted a little input, also the clutch has been replaced.

If it has a leak and was left alone for too long, nobody bothered to fill it, then it's quite possible the trans is damaged.
